ABOUT

The Black Pram Project™   is a series of photographs and installations that explore universal human tendencies.

The project focuses on human psychology articulated through an inanimate object (the black pram) that represents life and death – two events that everyone, without exception, has in common.  It is what we choose to do with the span of life between these points that defines us.

The pram embodies the purity and moral innocence we all possessed as a child. By placing it in various settings, it is imbued with layers of human complexities that we adopt as we mature and allow to shape our character and psyche.

The first phase of this series of human psychological portraits and installations addresses emotions such as fear, apathy and aggression as well as hope and compassion.
